These grips were advertised as for a S&W model 41 by an “unknown maker” and “the checkering is pretty smooth” and a “R” escutcheon. I recognized that they were Rink Formgriffe and stippled not checkered, hit the buy now before anyone else would see they were seriously underpriced.
Well they arrived yesterday but they are not for a model 41. Before I send them back for a refund, I thought I’d try to ID them and see if anyone here would want then at my cost.
What I can tell about them: these are the Rink Universal, ambidextrous without finger groves or palm rest, cost new 142€ plus S&H. The grip angle is the same my M41. The control layout (safety, slide release, & magazine release) are in similar locations as the M41. The magazine clearance between grips is 0.45” which I don’t think will fit anything larger than a 22 Rimfire. The two grip screws are about 1 1/8” center to center.
I hope the pictures turn out well. The pictures are side by side with the grips from my M41 with ten to the inch graph paper for background. Thanks for any help you can give.
