I have been shooting this gun since 2010 and have never had a problem but noticed over last few months I am having a few fail to fires and now I am having almost every shot resulting in a fail to fire. There are Dents left in the primers and ALL will fire when put back in magazine and fired again. The ammo is the same 3 types of ammo I have been using for years and is not the problem. When I dry fire the striker does not sound as crisp either. I removed the striker and ensured the channel was clear and the striker was generally clean.
Is it normal for the striker tip to be bulged? I don't mean the very tip I mean the part of the tip that guides the striker in the channel. Seems to me the bulge would cause friction rubbing as indicated by the shiny rub marks. I am sure I can send the gun back to have checked out and I will call on monday it is just I hate to not have this gun over the coming month. I would rather just file clean the edges of the striker if that is the root problem. Not sure if it is bulged from use or Design so I wanted to ask. Honestly if that is not the problem I don't know what is becuase it looks fine other wise except is does not sound crisp anymore.
