What height scope rings?

I just bought a Nikon 3-9X 40mm scope for my 15-22 and I have to buy rings for it. What height rings are you guys using on your 15-22's?

I mounted my scope on a Nikon M223 mount. I think it depends on the size of your objective lens. Sounds like 'medium' height would work for you.

I put a Nikon 3x 9x 40 on mine with the offset type from the Nikon p-223 and it worked good. a Leupold low was too low. I'd try the high's, not only so the scope will clear the bbl, but so you have the correct height of your cheek from the stock to the scope. if you can find a med and a high locally, buy both and return one.

I installed a 2.5x Redfield with a cantilever mount off ebay ($19.95) not high enough to my liking so I put 1/2" YHM riser blocks under it...perfecto. Most cantilever mounts are higher than mine but have picitinny mounting points which I did not want.
