Sitting here at the "country place" loading some .45 Colt and listening to the Rawhide Channel.

Real Country Music. So far tonight, Marty Robbins, Hank Thompson, The Carter Family, Earnest Tubb, Hank Snow, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Brenda Lee, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Tommy Duncan, Jim Reeves, Ray Price, Lefty Frizzell, Johnny Horton . . . . . .

As they used to say on the beer commercial, "Boy, it just don't get no better than that!"

Wife and daughter won't let me listen to it much when they're home. They are gone to a play and won't be home till about midnight.

I traded for a 5 1/2" Vaquero with member charles nearly four months ago and haven't had a chance to try it out. I had carpal tunnel surgery on not one, but both hands since then, and I haven't really felt like tackling the .45 until now. I'm loading up about a hundred 250 grain swc, 9 grain Unique rounds to try out with it tomorrow, weather permitting.

Back to the bench now. I still have to load about twenty rounds, and Waylon and Jesse Colter are singing.
