What is the Frame size?

I just purchased a S&W 29 Magna Classic in 44 Mag and would like to get custom grips made/purchased. Would like to know the frame size and if the frame is a square or round butt frame?

Welcome to the forum!

It's an "N" frame and I believe it's a round butt. Remove the stocks and look at the frame...

From one Veteran to another, I certainly will post some pictures. This is only the second S&W I've purchased. I am really partial to the Dan Wesson Revolvers. Hope I don't get kicked of the forum for mentioning other brands.

I've mentioned C*** from time to time, and I'm still around.

some of the newer S&W guns have some wonky grip frame sizes. N frames with K grips, X frame with K round grips. Round, Square, Magna, Target, Presentation, Combat. I am still trying to figure them all out myself.and when I buy a set at a show or online the seller is typically wrong about what they fit and I cant tell the difference unless I have a side by side comparison. Its frustrating but its a good way to build up a good collection of stocks. Then you just have to buy more guns to utilize them on.
BTW, I also have a mild Ruger SA fetish that hasnt got be the boot yet either.
