On the desktop or laptop computer you usually use to visit this forum, what is the first number of the resolution you have the monitor set to?

Mine is set at 1600x900, so I would check #5

Well after all your help yesterday I have left mine at 1440 x 900.

I can actually read the type and the whole screen is filled.

I discovered on the CD that came with the monitor that there was actually a set up wizard (we will not tell anyone about that:D) But it still wanted me to leave it at the high of 1920 x 1080 which made everything tiny.

What's a pixel ??????

Techno-speak revenge for Legalese. :D

Picture Element (Pix is geek-speak for Picture)
When you enlarge a digital picture too much, it starts breaking down into little square boxes of color. Each little square box is a Pixel.

And where do you find that #

In WinXP
Right click on blank area of desktop
Select PROPERTIES
Select SETTINGS tab
Screen Resolution is listed in lower left.

Don't know about Win Vista or 7 or Mac, but it'll be listed somewhere close to the adjuster for screen resolution.
