Got this from my dad's estate. Trying to figure out what brand it is. It has the work MADE stamped on the bottom of the butt. Can't tell what caliber it is or what it shoots. I believe it's a five shot and looks like the cyl. is roughly the size of a .38? On the barrel it says GAS CARTRIDGE ONLY. Any thoughts?

I'm willing to bet it's a smooth bore. Right? It is not designed to fire regular ammo. I'm thinking it's a tear gas pistol. At least that's what it looks like to me. H&R made some that looked similar. They were designed to fire tear gas or pepper gas cartridges. Probably not something you want to try out on the neighbors.:D

It's an H&R. Or, at least, the grips are H&R.

Most likely, as Mule Packer suggests, it's a tear gas gun. 38 caliber. The guns in this link are single shot "pen guns", but about 2/3 down the page there's a picture of a box of cartridges.

I'm betting it shoots blanks only. And gas cartridges were often made for toy guns. Wouldn't mind seeing more photos.
