What night-sights for a S&W 1911 model?

So what options are there and where do you get the best prices? I can't isolate what sights will actually 'fit' the Smith 1911 so...

I have the stocker Novak style low profile 3 dots on there now, they're fine but I'd like to get some low-vis sights on this bugger eventually.

I could be wrong but I think the 4000/5900 series sights fit on the 1911 also. If you're asking about night sights then Novak or Trijicon would be my choice.

Great, thanks for the reply and link. So did you order them from Midway or something and then have your LGS install or? How are they working out? I assume fine but doesn't hurt to ask. ;-)

I don't own a Smith 1911 but I have Champion adjustable night sights on my 1911. Well made sights, Bo Mar style.

I ordered my set through Optics Planet. They are great to deal with. I would recommend them to any who asked. As to how they are working out, still bright and on target, couldn`t ask for more!
