What optics footprint is the Shield Plus 3.7" w/threaded barrel?

Many, if not most of the 9mm are RMSc, newer ones (and all 30 Super Carry models) are Holosun K.

I'm not aware of a specific serial number range that would tell you which is which. The Shield Plus that I bought last November had the RMSc cut and the dreaded negative slope that wouldn't let me zero an EPS Carry.

Thank you. Does the EPS carry and also which, if any, RMSc dots still allow use of irons? (Non-suppressor height)

My Shield 9 1.0 didn't come with an optic cut although I've thought about having it milled but haven't decided yet. My original Hellcat came optics ready with only 3 optics recommended for direct fit at the time. I went with the Shield RMSc, auto brightness only, and have 100% irons co-witness. Only downside is when it's battery replacement time, you have to remove the sight and re-zero. My Sig P365 has a Romeo X Compact, manual brightness only, with top 1/3 irons co-witness. Due to side battery compartment, no removal or re-zero required. My advice on optics is to shop around, looking for your pistol with different optics installed, and handle them if possible. The one thing I'd definitely be looking for is a direct no plate fit. Good luck with your search!

I had my slide's optic cut corrected to Holosun K spec by Nameless Armament. They milled off the back posts and leveled and cerakoted the cut for $120. Now, the EPS Carry directly bolts on without a plate, and the factory night sights are visible in the lower part of the optic window.

With the included Holosun K to RMSc adapter plate, the factory sights were still visible, but less so with the EPS Carry. With a 507K and a DPP titanium plate, I couldn't really make out the sights through the window.

If you have an RMSc cut and don't want to modify your slide, the best RMSc pattern optic is probably the SIG Romeo -X Compact. Battery life isn't as good as the Huanic/Holosun optics, but that's part of the price you pay for US assembly.
