What size/type front sight for a Mountain Gun?

I want to change the front sight on my 625 MG. I am interested in a gold bead, and Midway carries them from SDM. Does a Mountain Gun need a "classic" or "pinned" front sight? Is the standard height .250" or .300"?

It should require the pinned/.300 front sight. I have one on backorder with Midway as we speak for my 629MG--Expected in stock in Feb. I already have one on my 625 MG (.45 ACP) and really like it. Good luck.
