Honestly im so sick of ammo talk and lack there of. Im starting to hate ".22" i have 8500 rounds and fear that will be gone by July and i check gunbroker to see if things are going back to normal and guess what.......nope they sure aren't. These prices are ridiculous. The whole thing is ridiculous. Seriously, its 22lr. They aren't gonna stop making it!!!! Pretty bad i could sell all my ammo and buy a higher end 1911 and a classic P&R smith. ( with just my 22lr ammo) lol

Whenever I am in Walmart, i go to the gun and ammo area.
The only pistol ammo they have is some expensive exotic 45
colt and never 22's. They do have a sign that they limit sales of AR-15;s to one per customer per day!!!

They don't pay a lick of attention to events or politics and have no idea why there is no ammo. "I've been to ten Walmarts and can't find any ammo, so I figured I'd come into a gun store because you always have ammo. What the hell is going on?"

Its time for these people to take up knitting or build a ship in a bottle.

There's a guy over on Rimfire Central who has a stash of 650,000 rounds of .22LR . He's been stock piling cases of it since the 50's !

I sure am glad I saw this coming back in 2008 & Prepared Little By Little so I am set for quite a long while on Rimfire ammo of all types & Loading Components for Centerfire,Lately I spend way more time on My ATV's & Polaris RZR then shooting anyway.

Actually, anyone who is old enough to remember the Clinton era should of already stockpiled ammo.
If you think gun and ammo stockpiling is bad, wait until society collapses and we have food shortages.

Pick up a couple Bolt action 22 rifles. It will slow your rate of fire way down and stretch out your ammo supply.

Remember when gasoline wouldn't change 3 cents in a year and now it changes 10 cents in a week? It's all about speculation based on real or imagined supply, demand and "external" events. The bottom line is if you have it, you can make money on it and screw the consumers. Same with ammo.
