What to do with these beautiful parts?

Hi folks,

I stumbled upon a Performance Center barrel for a 681, and since I'd never seen one before, it came home.

Perhaps not coincidentally, an unfluted 686+ cylinder arrived almost simultaneously.





Surprisingly, the barrel isn't ported. With the dovetail, I suppose it could fit a 686 with the appropriate front blade...

Is this a hint that the cosmos wants me to assemble a 681 Birdsong tribute ?

Ooooh...I do have a 3-inch 686+ that could use an unfluted cylinder and PC barrel.

Make a nice short range deer blind/stand gun. Red dot on top and run some heavy 180 grains out of it.
