Picked one of these up today. Looks and feels like a great piece of gear, but the piece that fits into the magazine opening is too big for the 15-22. Does anyone make a replacement part that fits the 15-22 opening?

Just a little word of advice, do not attempt to do any barrel work with that device. If you are going to remove the flash-hider or install a can or shroud or replace the handguard...it is the barrel that needs to be held in a vice and NOT the handguard or magwell. It is polymer and the barrel will twist in the upper causing serious damage...you probably already know this....but if you dont then you need to.
For all other jobs, cleaning, attaching optics etc then it looks great, i dont have or use one so i dont know about 15-22 specific parts, but hey its yours now get creative with it. :D

^Good info^

Unless you have a bunch of AR's that you clean constantly I don't see that thing getting much use.

A 15-22 magazine lightly secured in your bench vise makes a great tool for cleaning. Then throw an AR mag in there for the big brothers.

That same vise paired with barrel blocks makes handguard and muzzle device swaps possible for the 15-22. Throw in a Geissele reaction rod, punches, a torque wrench, and an armorer's wrench and you're building AR's.
