I think JiRV (SRV brother)is better! I also like Clapton & Bonnie R.Blues.....you also have some great harp players....James Cotton & Kim Wilson!

I really like Clapton & others. When I watch Jimmy Vaughn play it always looks like he is struggling to get his fingers in the right place, not smooth like others. Not that I know much, I just know what sounds good to me.
 
It doesn't get much better than those two!

A lot of my favorite musicians are (or were) from Texas. Lyle Lovett, Johnny and Edgar Winter, ZZ Top, Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Lightnin' Hopkins, and Albert Collins, just to name a few.

If you love the Blues, you just can't claim one artist as a favorite. They all speak to us differently in the same language.
