So what is the story on the 4004 (1991-93) and 4044 (1991-93) pistols? I think this has been asked before, but no one seems to have an answer. I expect they were not that popular - only 3 years, but other contemporary pistols that only lasted 1 to 2 years frequently surface.
Supposedly the 3954 (1991-92), 4054 (1991-92), 4026 (1991-93), 6926 (1991 only), and 6944 (1991-92?) are more rare but I have found all 5 - and have seen multiple 6944 listed recently at the same time. But I cant recall seeing a 4004 or a 4044 which were made in the same 1991-93 timeframe. Plenty of 4003 & 4043, but nothing in blue.
Anyone have an indication of how many of the blued 4004 & 4044 pistols made?
Same for the later 4003TSW (2000-03) & 4043TSW (2000-02) - hard to find.
