Above said question.
I checked Don Hume, Uncle Mikes, Galco, Google last night.

Trying to find a belt and rig with speedloaders for my 1977 M-28 Highway Patrolman with a 6 inch barrel.

Doesn't Bianchi still make the No. 5 and the No. 111 for N-frames?

El Paso Saddlery will sure fix you up, but they aren't cheap.

Hit gun shows, too. I've found some fine holsters that way.

I've picked a few nice Safariland holsters from e-bay at reasonable prices. Same for speedloaders. I prefer the Safariland speedloaders, however, they are no longer being made by Safariland. I have found some on e-bay and some at gunshows, some at guns shops that somehow still hve some in stock. They are getting harder to find, though. The other choice is HKS, and I think they still make them. I am still using some Safariland units that I have had since they started making them and they still work fine.

I was thinking something that was a little lower on the hip that hung down from the belt. kinda like a Border Patrol or Jordan holster. Especially with my 6 inch barrel. Preferrably black leather

E-Gay does frequently have N-Frame '70s/'80s/'90s duty holsters, mostly by Safariland (29/229), less frequently Bianchi and others like Don Hume (Jordan/Border Patrol). I've picked up period correct holsters to replace some of the duty holsters I'd foolishly let go with the guns :o:( way back when.

A lady going by "darb101" has been excellent to deal with and I've bought a good dozen + holsters/speed loader cases/mag pouches...some collector grade, from her. She posts multiple excellent honest pics of each holster. BTW, I don't know her personally, never met or spoke with her, only email contact regarding purchases, she's just a nice person.

Search "Safariland holster"/"Bianchi holster"/"Don Hume holster" under "All Categories" periodically, you'll probably find what you need fairly quickly.

Good luck in your search...

I carried a 6" model 28 in a Safariland swilvel holster back in the late 70s. I liked it for carrying a long barrel gun. It may not be that good for woods use.

Thanks,

Did you mean E Bay or E Gay? I typed in E Gay on google and....well you can imagine what came up. Hardly gun related material :D

Nevermind, I found her. Nothing there for N frame. A short list right now. Thanks

Uhm...
My bad...
While the proximity of the "G" and "B" could certainly lead to a simple keystroke error, such is not the case here :o.
The E-Bay no gun policy annoys many, E-Gay seems to be the most popular derogatory expression.
I'll take your word for the results you were confronted with in your search .
Sorry Doug...
Unless, that is, you added the results to your "Favorites";):D.
