Where can I find a rear sight for a 17-4?

I just picked up a 17-4 with a scope mount and I want to set it up for iron sights. Any ideas?

S&W sells parts. Check there or check Brownells. Don

Brownell's, I believe Midway, and of course Smith & Wesson have the complete sight assembly you need for the gun. You will also need the small screw that goes in the front of the sight assembly to screw it to the top of the frame. I believe you will need an assembly with the .146" sight blade. There is an old style and a new style sight assembly. so I'm not sure which one yours would take.

Numrich is another source for parts. Love my 17-3. With the ammo shortage it's getting shot more than all of my other S&W's combined. Find my shooting skills are improving across the board from the cheap practice sessions.
