Taylor County, Georgia.
God's Country.
I thank God at least once a week that I had the
good fortune to be born here and to live all my
65 years (so far) here.

West Virginia
(for the first 21 years of my life, from the time I was born through college)

Pennsylvania
(three different locations in Western PA, grand total of about 7.5 years)

South Carolina
for about 2.5 years

North Carolina
2 different locations, one for grad school (about 22 months) and one for about 1.5 years.

South Carolina
been here for almost 4 years now. Like living in Charleston MUCH more than the first trip.

And it's the internet, so I'm leaving out specific cities, other than where I live now. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to know more.

Well, I was born and raised in Texas, other than a few years in Las Cruces, New Mexico while I was in elementary school. After joining the Navy, I lived in California, Texas, Virgina, and North Carolina. After my enlistment was up, I came back to Texas, went to college, and then went to work for GTE. During my career with GTE (which became Verizon), I lived in several places in Texas, New Mexico, and Florida. I moved back to Texas in 1997, and didn't move again until I retired. We moved from the city to the country, and I think I'd rather burn all this cr...er, stuff than move it again.

I grew up 6/10 of a mile from where I live now.

We lived in the small village (about 6 miles from here) for a couple years. I found out the big-city livin' ain't for me.

We now live in the house that Mrs. Hillbilly grew up in.

Texas. Always lived within 117 miles of the town I was born in.

Our children are raised and moved to different states. My wife thinks we should move to a warmed state. I am not sure I want too.

Between and after the Chinas I got to work all over the US, including AK and HI, and Canada - Usually spending a couple of months in a place. Lots of time in Philly too.
Of all of it - ALASKA is BY FAR the best!

Born and raised in Erie PA

Moved to Chesterfield County Virginia outside Richmond when I was 20. Not sure if I ever met CajunBass.

Moved to Colorado Springs, CO when I was 25 and currently live outside of the city. Only reasons I can see leaving here is a recession worse than the one we just experienced forcing me out of my job, or moving away to be near my kids when they grow up.
