looking for a place to get a good deal on one since I haven't been lucky enough to find one in a dealer here in MD. Any suggestions?

Rockwell Arms had several FS M&P 9in stock earlier in the week, I think they were $30 below retail. Not sure if that's a good deal to you or not... given how scarce they are, real bargains are hard to come by.

Show-Me Shooters in Claycomo, Mo has several 40s and at least one 9mm.

ugh... not available online... im kind of leaning towards one of the range kit ones just so i have 3 mags and dont need to worry about buying more.... looking like I will be buying off gun broker

there should be a cabela's near you somewhere or if not the equivalent competitor like bass pro or gander mountain

Before you purchase, check and see if you can get ammo to test fire it first. 9mm is very hard to find right now.

Cabelas in Allen, TX had several in stock, both FS and C, when I was there earlier today. Also had a Pro but can't remember if it was a 9 or a 40. If Cabelas near you doesn't have stock maybe they can get one for you from another store. Not sure if they will or won't do that for you but a lot of retailers will.

We keep ammo in stock almost all the time. Many people come in saying "I can't find ammo anywhere", but it's always here. It may not be in the first place you check, but there's plenty out there.

there is a lot of ammo to be found out there, it is just way overpriced with an average of 70 cents to $1 per round FMJ and $1 to $1.50 a round for HP

I wouldn't expect to be regular range shooting at those prices but the ammo shortage wont last forever.

That is how the current administation is going to control gun laws. They can not take our guns, but we can not shoot them if we have no ammo. DHS has purchased 1.65 billion rounds, just to keep production going in their favor. Tell me were you can buy reloading supplies, or certain calibers of ammo at will. I will stock up. Find some AR or AK or 22lr ammo, not to mention other calibers. Save your brass, and reload if you can get supplies.
