Not a children's book, but a website I've played with for over a number of years called "Where's George?" (Where's George? - Official Currency Tracking Project -). The idea of it is people can order a stamping kit from the company, ink-stamp American or Canadian currency, then enter the denomination and serial number of the bills onto the website as they spend the currency. I check my bills as I get them looking for anything stamped for Where's George.

Today I acquired a stamped $2 bill up in Hanover, PA at the bank. I put it into the website and got a hit on the bill. It turned out this bill was entered into the web site back in early 2011 at Arnold, MD, by Baltimore. Paper currency usually wears out pretty quickly but this bill took over 13 years to make it over the border from Maryland to PA. This bill must have been in somebody's stash for a long time because it's still pretty crisp. It's kind of fun to track the journey of a piece of paper currency.

There's a restaurant on the left just before getting to Hunting Island(SC) . Called Johnsonville Tavern. Great seafood!.......The entire restaurant's walls and ceiling are covered with $1 bills. You go in and and if you want to staple a dollar they bring you colored pencils and a staple gun You write whatever you want on the dollar and staple it to the wall/ceiling. We've done it several times for kicks & giggles. At any given time there are probably $10,000 worth of ones stapled up. In time they will clear a wall or ceiling. Count it and take it to the bank. The bank sends it to the treasury and they return "good" money.......The restaurant then donates the money to a CHARITY.

There's a hamburger joint on the water at Lake Greenwood(SC) that does the same thing.........But I can't remember it's name
