Hi Folks, I am getting ready to splice in a new "spa pak" in my dear old spa/hot tub, and I'm looking for a simple set up for a small spa, and I could do without an "air blower." I just need a 2 speed air switch style with a heater and control unit, nothing real powerful or fancy. I just want hot, clean water. What do you like or not like? I would appreciate some direction. Thanks, Flapjack.

Our spa/hot tub is a old claw foot tub I sit on blocks and build afire under. you get inside and blow through a hose to get the bubbles. It's a country hot tub.

Ozone can save you money on chems. Ozonator is one more thing to go wrong, but most seem to have a good life span. I fix these things, so I only see them when they break. Gives me a warped viewpoint.

If you are only using chlor and bicarb, you aren't spending enough money. PH up, PH down, oxidizing shock, cleaners, metal and phos removers, filter cleaners, algaecides, defoamers, alkalinity adjusters, acid. You're not even trying.
