Which "TS" for an 82-83 N Frame?

Gents, I've tried to figure this out on my own, but thought I ask here for better info. Would a 57-1 SN #N917xxx, which according to the box was shipped with Target Stocks, has the "speedloader cut out" style grips or the "football" style relief cut? According to my 4th edition, if I'm reading the SN range correctly, probably puts it around 1982-83 production. Appreciate the help! Bill in MA

Likely the larger cutout style by this time of production.

Thank for the info, I know that I've read here before about a transitional time frame on the styles. Just can't recall when that time frame was and if it was the same for both K and N frame models. Thanks again, Bill
