Who Made These Grips?

I've asked before, but so far no luck. Hoping someone here might have an idea.

They are new manufacture of the old style and very well done.

I don't know his name but, I am pretty sure that he spent time in the S&W wood shop because he sure nailed it.

Have you taken them off the gun? Most after market grips such as Altamont and such have their names on the inside....

No markings inside grips unfortunately.

BTW-Where did you get the neat blue SW thingy to hold the gun for the pix?

Not to challenge anyone's taste, but those are Asian knock-offs. The fit and checkering are poor, the medallions are low quality reproductions and the hardware, including the screw, is of cheap soft brass. These can be found on eBay for those interested.

FWIW, the checkering could be more crisp, but you missed the mark on fit.

Fit is outstanding. Wood is high grade. Medallions are excellent.

Could they be no name knock offs - perhaps.

What they aren't is garbage. I'd like to know where to get more, I have a couple others that they would look and fit real nice on.

Well, when I click on your photos to enlarge and examine them carefully, I see the gun's backstrap is proud of the wood by up to 1/16th of an inch or so down the entire length of the grip. I suppose it's possible I've missed the mark and this is considered outstanding fit and will not argue the point.

As for finding more grips like these, they're on eBay, like I said.

Bad fit. Bad checkering. Diamond escutcheon is out of proportion. They do appear to be cheap knockoffs.
