I had the same problem when I was a kid. I was born 12/28 and cheap relatives would always say "Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday" and give me one gift. I don't care now because Christmas is for the grandchildren, but it would make me mad back then.I just don't like Christmas on general principal. It is a big commercial holiday, trying to get people to spend money on things people don't need and can't afford. kids believe in a fat man in red velvet clothes that knows if your naughty or nice but they don't believe in God. and my birthday is on the 23rd. After my oldest brother informed me about the fat man in red, I was asked if I wanted a nice Christmas present or a nice birthday present.

This is our family Christmas Tree

Either my mother or my grandmother made it before I was born. So that's the family tradition behind it. It has one light bulb in it and it's the size of a blender it sits in a box in the hall closet all year and takes a minute and a half to put up.
In all seriousness though, that tree is a memory I've had my whole life and it's not Christmas till it's up. But it's still extremely low maintenance and that's a plus
How did Wiggums and the Load get their trees to stick to the wall? ?
Don't know why my pics don't post in the correct manor?
On a side note,,,,I was really looking for a tree like this!....
