Did you get the Browning in the U.S. or overseas? Have you seen any other of those anywhere? How do you like it shooting-wise?

Here's Some Info that was just emailed me by a Non Member of the forum who is lurking, I know your reading this!! ENJOY!!

M547 INFO
The original M547 was a French contract gun. The production of these guns started in 1980. The run of about 3,500 guns, consisted of 800 3in models, and the rest 4 in models. My m547s in the ser# range, is 6D13xx, and is part of that contract cancelled by the french. The production lasted 6 months. A year after the production restarted for a production run of about 10,000. More 4in models that 3in models. The French contract guns are indeed the rarest of the m547s producted. I bought mine in 1980, new in the box with all papers. Also included a mystery, congolvo grips came on the gun. Twenty years i talked to Roy Jenks at the factory where I got this info, as well as the gun magazines of 1980. The production of the m547 ended in 1985..

I WILL FIND A NICE 3" 547 SOMEDAY
I PROMISE YOU THAT!!
