Not the clearest pic,but this guy snuck up behind me on a gravel bar that extends into a sweeper that's fast and deep.I didn't want to jump into it wearing waders unless I had to.Waved my arms over my head and he stopped at 20' and stared for the longest time before turning around and going back

I had LOTS of pics==grizzlies, several species of wild sheep. moose, elk, spiders. whales, etc.==Da=n pictures won't post!

He just wanted to see what the trout were biting on!

I think he was near sighted lol
15 years earlier on the same gravel bar I watched a mule deer doe walk right up to my son and do the same thing

Wild Nokota horses along the Missouri River in North Dakota. Nokotas are descendants of a breed perfected by Sitting Bull himself. They are the quintessential war ponies and buffalo hunters.
