Does anyone else look at "trash" a little differently given our hobby?
I don't see an empty plastic milk jug - I see a plastic jug filled with water exploding after I've hit it with a hollow point. I don't see a wooden cutting board that needs to be thrown out - I see some wood and wonder what will happen to it if I put it at the business end of some bullets.
When it comes time to throw something out or put it in the recycle bin - I first ask myself "Would this be fun at the range?". If the answer is "yes" - it gets set aside for the next range trip.
This reminds of a "bit" David Letterman used to do: Will It Blend? He'd put various things in a blender and it had to be guessed whether the material could be blended.
For me it's "Will it target?" (Just this morning I had to put a pillow in the trash. When I asked "Will it target?" the answer came back "No." - so it went directly into the trash bin.
