I was in the Walmart at Del City OK today and made my usual trip by the ammo. It was the first time that I had seen any of this Personal Protection bonded PDX1 at a Walmart. They had 9mm 124 gr. JHP Plus P in 9mm and I think had some in 38 Spec and 40mm. It was $18plus which wasn't bad. I had previously paid $25 for a box of 147gr. not Plus P.

I bought some last week, in both .38 Special 130gn. +P and in 230gn. .45ACP.

Both shot extremely well. These bonded hollowpoint rounds seem to have a lot going for them.

My "always" Model 37 Airweight snubbie especially liked 'em, rewarding me with nice, small groups at ten yards that shot right to point of aim. Soft shooting too . . . so I've discovered a new self-defense round for my 1970 ear Airweight to replace wadcutters.

methinks 40mm is not what you meant? That would be a little on the large size for Wally world to carry.
