WITHDRAWN. When I received the gun, the sights had already been done with the S&W rear sight conversion and a red insert front ramp sight. The archive paper shows that the gun was shipped to Southern California, so the sight work was probably done by one of the many great 45 shops of the Southern California area, likely in the 1980s, maybe Kings? The rest of the gun was tastefully done by me with vintage parts.
Everything on this gun is super tight and retains 99.8% of its finish. A few tiny scuffs in the dull blue from handling but no idiot scratches in the high polish. For being a 1981, this gun looks nearly brand new and feels like it was barely shot, if at all.
Trigger is a crisp 4lbs.
The serial number is an oddity which the Colt archives has confirmed that the gun left the factory with this serial number and is listed on the archive paper.
Comes with one Colt/Kings bumper marked 7rd magazine and the archive paper.
Asking $1640 shipped to your FFL.
I accept PPFF, PMO or personal check and electronic payment from established members.
First "ill take it" gets it.
