First, I am a novice auto knife collector so please take that into consideration. Offered for sale/trade are two 'picklock' pushbutton knives, both marked "EIG Cutlery Italy". These were imported (not made) by Saul Eig of Miami, Florida. The EIG companyimported blades made by many of the 'cottage industry' knife makers. From reference books, the mark indicates that they were imported prior to 1958 when importation was halted by the federal government. Both of these are of the "bayonet" relatively unsharpened blade design for stabbing, not slicing. Both have the typical buffalo horn scales and have NOT been 'restored'. The pushbutton release and locking button work as designed with no 'peek' when the blade is closed. On the smaller knife, there is a little side to side play when the blade is open. The larger knife has virtually no play. Opening springs are quite strong--I have a cut in the heal of my left hand because I wasn't prepared for how fast they open.
The larger knife is 7-7/8th inches open -- $325 shipped
The smaller knife is 6-3/16ths incles open - $210 shipped

Please email me if you are proposing a trade. These are fully automatic switchblades so please verify that they are legal in your area. Thanks.
