I recently bought a lot of grips at auction, and this grip was one included. Initially, I thought it was an K or L frame target grip, but it looked...bigger...it is a factory S&W grip.
So, I tried it on a 1978 N frame model 28-2 and it fits perfectly, (see pics). It has a mid 1980's pre lock style with no washer, so it's probably 1985 - 1990 or so...Fits nice and tight and flush.
If anyone has a single right hand N frame Target grip, you can make a nice set with this one. This grip has original finish with no sanding or varnish added...It just needs its mate grip~
Price is $50 plus $3 for shipping, (I'll pay the difference in shipping).
I'll try it here awhile and if no interest, I'll send it to Ebay.
