The lettered 4" (sold) was shipped to Seattle Hardware Co June 17th 1954, a group of 40 all in the same configuration.
It has what some call "the Boeing B" etched on the butt.
Magna grips are not matching, action is clean and good, a little end shake no push off, great bore, a really fun gun to shoot.

The 5" "Transitional" was shipped in Aug 1946, grips match, action is clean and tight, great bore, no end shake, another fun shooter.
Estimates are that 9000 of these were produced 1946 - 1950
