Up for sale (again) from my personal collection: a "shooter grade" original 1943 mfg. WWII Remington U.S. M11 Riot Gun with 20" barrel. Gun is all-original (except for the custom recoil pad), correct, and numbers-matching. This is NOT a Model 11 with a cut-down barrel; it's a real WWII U.S. M11 Riot in good condition and fully-functional (and shootable). The stock still has a nice "FJA" / crossed cannons cartouche visible. Left side of receiver is marked "U.S." with flaming bomb and "MILITARY FINISH". Top of barrel is marked "U.S." and "CYL" (cylinder bore) with the correct Remington date code for March 1943. Serial number of 479XXX falls within the correct range for WWII M11 Riot guns (from Bruce Canfield's "Combat Shotguns" book). Bore is bright and shiny. The forearm has a 2 1/2" long crack underneath which is easily repairable; there are NO cracks in the stock. There is scattered surface rust and light pitting on both sides of the receiver but the finish is original. No extra holes drilled in wood or metal. Original WWII riot guns of any type/condition are getting hard to find. Asking WITHDRAWN/shipped to your FFL or personal C & R license, Postal money orders only. I will not ship to CA or NY.
