I will probably regret this, but I'm offering up my Randall model #8 Trout and Bird. I'm not an expert at dating Randall Made Knives, but my educated guess is that it was made between 1962 and 1973. There are 7 red, white, and blue spacers that separate the optional nickel silver hilt from the large tear drop sambar stag handle. It has a 3/16" thick and 4" long hand forged blade forged from 01 Swedish tool steel. Top clip sharpened. It has the original tight-stitched, Maurice Johnson roughback sheath with baby dot snaps. Since the blade is not stainless, it does have a patina that matches the overall age of the knife and sheath. They literally don't make them like they used to. Current production Randall's are still of extremely high quality, but this spacer stack and quality of stag are history.
