I know most of you guys are S&W experts but, since this Remington Model 95 Derringer is so nice, I thought someone here might be interested in it.
It is .41 Cal. rimfire and has 3" barrels. The script on the barrel reads "REMINGTON ARMS - U.M.C. CO. ILION N.Y.", all on one line. The barrels, hammer and trigger are blue and still retain most of their color. The rifling is pronounced but the bore does have some pitting. The frame is nickel and the finish is very good. The S/N is 118 on both the barrel and the frame. The grips are smooth walnut and are very nice with no cracks or chips.
The gun is tight, the hammer spring is strong and the barrel hinge is tight with no cracks. The screw heads are not even wallowed out. It is in fine working order. It is in very good condition over all.
