I had some unexpected expenses come up this month and I've decided to sell this holster here as I would like it to go to a good home.
It is a used black cowhide Wraith IWB holster by Seth's Gun Leather of SC. It is a right-handed holster for a S&W J-frame. It was made in 2011. It is of the VM2-style with outboard belt loops to give it a lower profile as well as distribute the weight and belt pressure over a larger area for better comfort. I can say that this is a very comfortable holster, even for someone like me with a little extra "padding" around the waist.
It was custom-ordered with a slightly lower ride height for improved concealability and stability, yet, as can be seen in the picture below, it still allows for a full firing grip on the gun. The cant angle is a FBI tilt, about 15 degrees.
The reinforced mouth won't collapse after the gun's been drawn, allowing for easy one-handed re-holstering. This holster still passes my shake retention test, which involves placing the gun, unloaded, in the holster and shaking it a few times while holding it upside down over my bed. The gun doesn't fall out. However, it draws easily.
This holster comes with 2 interchangeable sets of belt loops for either 1.25" or 1.5" widths (FYI, for size reference, these loops fit well with my 1.25" and 1.5" Beltman double-layer belts). The loops are secured with one-way snaps. The finish on the snaps is worn but they still hold securely.
It also incorporates a side shield to protect your body if you carry a J-frame with an exposed hammer, such as a Model 36 or 60.
This picture shows how a holstered gun would look and where it would sit in relation to the belt (gun and belt not included).
TERMS
The price for the holster with both sets of belt loops is $75 (original price was $125 with a 12-week delivery time and $10 for the extra set of belt loops). This price includes shipping to the lower 48 states. No sales outside the US. Preferred payment method is PayPal (details will be sent to buyer via PM).
The first person to post "I'll take it" here, accompanied with a PM, will be the buyer.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
Added 11/11/2016: I was able to secure some extra funds elsewhere so I am no longer selling this holster. Thank you.
