I have decided to let this one go to a new home since my focus is on hand ejectors, not top-breaks.
Here we have an excellent condition (All numbers match) 3rd Model Perfected Single Shot .22 LR featuring it's original 10" barrel with olympic chambering. The barrel on this one is numbered to the gun and Roy's letter states it was shipped with this 10" barrel to an individual in Coffeyville, KS in 1922.
Not all barrels found on these guns are actually numbered to the frames they are fitted to.
Retains most of it's original blue finish, with some light wear/freckling at the muzzle and some high areas and front of grip frame. Original stocks are numbered in pencil. Has some minor spotting. The bore is like new with strong rifling and no issues.
The "Olympic Chamber" means that you must press the bullet into the rifling when you insert a .22 LR cartridge into the chamber. This gives you better accuracy.
Price on this one is $1,575 shipped to your C&R or FFL.
**TRADES** May consider a trade or part trade for pre-model number S&W's with target sights.....OR......a Freedom Arms Model 97 in .44 Special. Email me with what you have to trade.
Be sure your FFL is ok receiving from a private party, I will include a copy of my drivers license in the box with the gun when I ship.
