Judging from the serial, U585-XXX, this is around a 1998 vintage Sig Sauer P226 in .40 caliber. I purchased this pistol used, so I have no idea of round count. Judging by the barrel condition and frame rails, it has been shot a fair amount. Not a collector or show piece, but a clean straight shooting example of the breed.
Stainless slide with the short extractor and standard combat sights (bar/dot) on a German non-railed frame. This example comes with two standard capacity (12) factory Sig LE marked magazines, the blue box, and documents. I have no idea if it is the original box, as some previous owner removed all the decals that would indicate such.
A good shooting solid service pistol, that I have no reservations about. I am asking $500 - firm - shipped from my FFL to your FFL where legal in the lower 48. I am located in central Missouri. Payment by USPS money order only. I will allow a reasonable inspection period (48hrs), and if you feel I have misrepresented the gun in any way, a full refund of your money.
