This vintage Al Mar knife is just out of long-term storage and is perfect for the serious collector.
This is essentially a brand new 35-year old knife and shows the precision craftsmanship and beautiful designs Al was known for.
It will be awfully difficult to find a nicer #3008-A SERE VIII fixed blade!
This model has even been seen in a Steven Segal movie
7 1/8" long blade with hollow grinds and sharpened top edge serrations
6A stainless with a Satin finish and Beefy 3/16" (5mm) thick blade stock
Full tang construction 12 1/2" OAL with Satin finished Stainless Bolsters
Contoured and polished micarta handles with nice layering and pattern
Brass tubes and lanyard hole
Red fiber spacers between the blade tang and scales add eye appeal.
This example has a handle that's slightly thicker than usual and it feels particularly good in the hand.
Super clean with only and sure to please and includes original sheath and sharpening stone (Sorry, no box)
