I always enjoyed Wojo from Barney Miller, Max Gail is a good actor-I didn’t realize until about 30 minutes ago he’s on a soap opera! Was channel surfing today and there he was.

A great cast in general on Barney Miller and I know it’s the favorite cop show for many.

I was watching a few days ago and noticed Barney and one of the
other guys were wearing Bianchi 5B holsters. Or something very
similar.

They play 2 in a row every night at 10:00. I love it. I think Barney and Wojo are the only living primary cast members. Harris and Dietrich are my favorites. Levitt is great and the prince of passive/aggressiveness that is hilarious. Max Gail was also in the recent Sam Elliott movie The Hero.

Max has turned out to be a great character actor. I've seen him on numerous shows as different characters and he has always done a great job. I think his days on the soap are numbered and looks like he'll be written out soon.

Good to Max still around, caught him on an NCIS a while back.
I liked the PR dick Chano (?) for the first season or two. He stayed busy for a while.

I don't remember what show I was watching the other night but recognized wojo was an actor on it. I was surprised as I had never seen him acting on anything other than Barney Miller.

Ron Glass/Harris died at 71 yrs old, Steve Landesberg/Dietrich died age 74, Jack Soo/Yemana died 62 yrs old, Frank Luger died age 91, Levitt died at 72, Fish/Abe Vigoda died at age 94.

I still like watching the reruns.

Jack Soo died while the show was still in production. The tribute they did soon afterward was touching and deserved.
