Some weeks ago I asked if anyone did woodworking because I needed a Tenebrae hearse made. After the ensuing discussion, some requested a photo of the end result--so here it is, assembled.

It will look better on the altar rather than my dining table!

When seeing the photo my first thought was "hillbilly menorah ?" , but it made me curious enough (in spite of what happened to the cat) to research it and find out the story behind it. Fascinating !

Like Kyle always says . . "I learned something today!" :D

Hillbilly menorah...hahaha, I suggested we use a menorah, but the shape is wrong and pastor was not too cool on it, with the Star of David and all on the menorah. That's saying a lot, I think, because he and I both laughed pretty hard at the Hebrew Hammer movie.

Anyway, for anyone in the SE Houston area curious as to how it will be used, and if it would not interfere with your own holy week observances...this Friday, 7PM at La Porte Community Church.

Hopefully I can make it through without pastor singing "Kill de Jesus" a la Elmer Fudd getting stuck in my head. he's done it three times already, and it was irreverently amusing.
