Recob's target Shop has powder in stock. I got 8 pounds now don't have to worry about running out. Happy days are here again. Don

CFE pistol is the only pistol powder that I've found consistantly available. In bottlenecked pistol cases I did find it somewhat faster burning than the burning rate charts indicate.

I like it but chrono test with my 38 Special showed it was position senitive in the case and gave better results it the gun was pointed up between shots. if I don't worry about tight ES and SD its ok.

Yes I was getting worried my jug was getting low and I was not wanting to pay the LGS $40 for a pound of their's. Don

Nice score! I got an 8lbs jug of BG86 a couple of weeks ago. I'm still highfiving myself on that. I was looking for a universal pistol powder and the BG86 seems to fit the bill.

I tend to hang around sporting goods stores. The inventory
seems to be going up. Maybe everyone has stashed a good
supply and feel they have enough for now.

Being retired and belonging to the Gun a Month Club I haven't been stock piling reloading supplies. I do buy CFE Pistol when I can find it and just eat beans and rice for a week or so. I can't find it very often so haven't had to eat much rice lately. Don

I found that CFE in my 38 loads did a lot better in the upper range................ just like Unique, its big brother.

Same with the 357 magnum and the 125 XTP loads.

It can go low in the 9mm but not too low since cases get sooty and accuracy goes to "Shotgun" patterns.
Lowest amount for a 115gr plated was 5.5grs in the medium target speeds.

Glad you can breath again.....................
