This video is of eagles attacking larger prey, including people.
Amazing what they can carry off.

Some of those are pretty cool. The one with the bird carrying the kid was from a while back and the creators stated it was photo shopped.

MANY of those animal fights are faked.

A dead giveaway is if they have a tiger fight an anaconda. Think where those animals live!

But leopards live in both Africa and Asia. If they have a leopard fight a python, it may be legit. Reticulated, Indian, and Burmese pythons all qualify. But so does an African rock python. So, unless they give a location...

However, if ANY python fights a jaguar, it's fake. Unless, say, that jaguar is in the Calcutta zoo.

Elmer Keith assured me that golden eagles do take lambs. It was why he hated eagles and shot them when he could, although he knew it was illegal.

But the video above shows a full grown mountain goat being lifted by an eagle. Not only does it probably weigh 150 lbs. or more; the goat isn't reacting like it's being pierced by eagle talons and carried off.

Use a little common sense and you'll usually spot fake animal fights.

I've seen some real ones, usually filmed in African game reserves, where cars could approach. But seeing a mongoose or meerkat kill a snake is pretty boring until the mongoose sees an opening. I was impressed by a fight between a mongoose and a puff adder (Bitis arietans). A viper strikes faster than a cobra, or even a mamba. Would the mammal win? It did, and I THINK it was a real fight.

I do believe that eagles attack people. I was personally attacked by a Great Horned Owl that made a run at me. It flared off at the last second when it seemed to realize that I was behind a car window. I was reaching for my .357, in case it came through the window. Scary... (My car was parked in a driveway, where I was watching for people who'd threatened to kill a security client. And I didn't imagine that owl. It gave my radio antenna a good jolt as it flared off.)
