WOW! Got the brand new Roy Jinks/Doc44 (Bill Cross) book today!!! The research done was amazing and the information now available on the early 44 Mags is invaluable!

It's an extremely important contribution to the history of the 44 Magnums that should be in the hands of all serious collectors..... It is also useful to determine the shipping dates of other N frame S&W products

Somewhere out there is my grail gun... a factory produced 5" 44... This book is gonna help me find it before you do!!

Mine came in today also, and I agree with TDC 100%. If you are a collector of, or just interested in the .44 magnum S&W, this publication is a wealth of information.

It's a shame the book is focused so narrowly. Wished the knowledgeable folks would do something on the Model 39 and it's desendants.

In 2006, one of the S&WCA Journals was largely dedicated to the Model 39 and its variants. It was approximately 60 pages of information on this model. Another benefit of membership in the S&WCA!!!
