If you have a 45 Recon to offer, I might be your guy.
I'm not a collector, so a shooter model would fit my needs just fine. But if you have a new-in-box, or lightly used, I'm just as interested.
Prefer the stainless finish but the black is a close second. With only 603 of these out there, about evenly divided between the two finishes, I certainly won't limit my options.
Original mag(s) a plus. Box (plastic or Performance Center metal case) not required but nice to have. The serial-numbered S&W knife that came with some of the 45 Recons would be a great find with the package, but not required.
I keep an eye on the auctions and know what's available from them, so I'm really asking about a Forum member's gun that for whatever crazy reason, you'd be looking to clear from the safe. I have a good idea what these are worth, depending on condition, and will step up to the plate ready to swing the bat.
