WTB- Made in Japan side mount for .22 style scope like the one shown here... These were made in Japan in the 1960's and 70's and were a drill and tap side mount that went on some milsurps like Argentine Mausers, etc. They also were a sort of generic mount for some .22 rifles with 4x15 scopes either 7/8 or 3/4" or so.
I need one of these just like pictured for a fabrication project and if anyone has one in their scope mount box from an older gun you may have had in the past, shoot me a message and I'll make it worth your while. They are similar to a weaver, but aren't stamped by a maker and they mount slightly different than a Weaver. I checked Ebay, but none on there. Most people probably never even kept them. I am not even sure what company made them? They are a simple "X" stamped steel one piece mount.
Thanks all~
