I am looking for some base guns for future custom builds. I am looking for 70 series and by 70 series I mean no firing pin safety 1911s in blue carbon steel. I am not l looking for a SS or Nickel finish. Minor cosmetic blemishes are not an issue. These guns will be reworked. My preferred model is the Colt 01970A1CS which was the 70 series pistol mad prior to the Colt Classic. Other models will be considered. Thanks in advance.
