I am a semi-serious collector of model 49's. About a year ago I connected with a model 49 "reverse" pinto on this forum. I am looking now for a "regular" pinto model 49. The "reverse" has a nickel frame with a blued cylinder & barrel. The "regular" would have a blued frame with nickel cylinder & barrel. There are also some Michigan State Police model 49's that are a blued frame and barrel with a nickel cylinder (or maybe stainless? - not sure). I would be much more interested in the true pinto, but would consider the MSP model, if anyone has one they'd like to sell. Please let me know.
