Probably a long shot posting this here, but ya never know, the S&W Forum has done wonders before.
I need a stock for a pre-'64 Winchester Model 70. It must be all original and unaltered with a steel butt plate, low comb is preferred, but beggars can't be choosers, it also needs to be about 95% condition or better.
I know that is a tall order, but I have mint, 99% mid-'50's vintage Model 70, it may even be unfired; unfortunately someone cut it and put a recoil pad on it. I'm more than happy to trade this stock toward your stock if need be.
If you happen to have a stock like this sitting around, please let me know.
