This question may have been asked before, but I couldn't pull up any results with a search. I know that there are hi-cap mags (14rd?) available for the M&P .45, can anyone tell me if they fit flush or extend below the bottom of the grip? Who makes them? Are they any good? Does S&W make a hi-cap mag for the .45?

S&W makes them and they extend an inch or so below the frame.

14rd mags

WOW! They are about ugly! I see no practical purpose for a mag that looks like that...they couldn't figure out a better way to squeeze a few more rounds in a mag without that abomination?

Plenty of the 14's for sale, not so easy to find factory 10 rounders. I guess I just have to keep looking.

The way the M&P grips are designed, they cannot hold more than 10rds within the grip (they have a smaller grip frame than other large .45s). So it is one of the drawbacks, but they do fit smaller hands nicely. I had one for a while, but just couldn't live with the 10rds vs 14rds of my FNP-45

14rd 45 mags

Yes they make them, they stick out. CDNN Sports has them.
